NEUTRON SCATTERING ON TRANSURANIUM MATERIALS
A number of neutron experiments on transuranium materials are reviewed. The purpose of these experiments, which range from studies of crystal field in the oxides to excitations in PuSb, is to increase our understanding of the 5f electron behavior across the first half of the actinide series. Comparisons are made with the more familiar uranium analogues.
