Abstract

Compressibility and high pressure behavior of the heavy fermion compounds UBe-13 and UPt-3, as well as of the reference compound ThBe-13 were studied by X-ray diffraction in a diamond anvil cell at ambient temperature. The bulk moduli and their pressure derivatives were determined.
