HETERODYNE SPECTROSCOPY OF ROTATIONAL TRANSITIONS AROUND 780 GHZ IN N-2O AND CH-3BR
Progress in the development of heterodyne submillimeter receivers has allowed to achieve high spectral resolution DELTA-nu/nu = 3 X 10**-7 for frequencies near 800 GHz. As a consequence, the K splitting of rotational transitions is clearly resolved and the spectral shape of individual absorption lines can be analyzed.
