Abstract

The cryogenic system of the TORE SUPRA Tokamak is presented here in its final design. The selected technical solutions are described successively for the cryogenic satellites, the distribution lines and the refrigeration plant. A cryogenic power of approximately equal300 W at 1.75 K and 1000 W at 4.0 K is needed. The use of classical or specially developed components is discussed.
