Abstract

Absolute strain values have been obtained by numerical treatment of laser holographic interferograms. The properly developed numerical code ELISA has proved to be a flexible tool for interferometric data handling and presentation of results. The proposed procedure (three interferograms with different positions of illumination and observation) enabled the achievement if high "quality factor" in the measurements. The agreement of interferometric strain value and the one obtained by strain gauges and analytical solutions was quite good
