Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

Abstract

The purpose of this work was to compile, compare and interpret the data and information available in the member countries of the European Community on conducted electromagnetic perturbations in low voltage power lines. Information was obtained in the form of reports from some member countries and by personal contacts with others. In order to cover the faceted and complicated problems of conducted electric perturbations in low power lines, numerous discussions with experts were held on the basis of a check list. Basically, the present report is a compilation of the reports of the individual countries and the respective information is presented, as far as is possible, in an unchanged form. Measurement methods, measuring instruments and results were compiled and discussed. A comparison of the processed data from the individual countries was impossible without a compromise. The data available in their original form were statistically evaluated.
