Abstract

IR collisionless multiple-photon dissociation of UF-6 has been accomplished with the 16 mum laser radiation generated by stimulated Raman scattering of CO-2 radiation in p-H-2. The efficiency of the process has been monitored through the fluorescence (at 2.6. mum) emitted by HF formed after the photodissociation of UF-6 in presence of H-2.
