Abstract

Under a number of basic restrictions (as mentioned in the title) and the assumption of a "good behaving" poloidal magnetic field (tangent to the boundary), the axisymmetric (non-normal, mixed, (21)- dimensional) ThermoMagnetoFluidoDynamic (TMFD) system is separated into five evolution equations in five unknowns (in normal form) plus four decoupled equations in the remaining four synchronous unknowns (velocity, electrostatic potential).
