Abstract

The CBNM Electron Linear Accelerator was first used in 1965. After two major improvements, it is now producing very intense (about 100 A) and short (0.6 ns) electron pulses of 100 MeV average energy. Neutron bursts are produced in a uranium target via (y,n) and (y,f) processes. This neutron source is dedicated essentially to nuclear measurements.
