Abstract

The temperature T-e and density n-e behaviours in the scrape-off layer of FT (Frascati Tokamak) have been investigated by means of two single Langmuir probes both in ohmic and in additional radiofrequency (RF) heating regime. Interesting dependence of the density on the plasma current is observed in the first case, and on the plasma density in the second one. The radial variation of T-e and n-e have been studied too. Generally T-e shows less clear behaviours and less marked variation with RF than n-e.
