CONSEQUENCES OF MILK QUOTAS AND ALTERNATIVE ANIMAL ENTERPRISES
The publication comprises the proceedings of a scientific meeting to review (I) early responses by EEC farmers to milk quotas (II) possibilities of lower cost milk production (III) beef production (IV) sheep, goats, horses as alternative meat animals, and (V) considerations and discussions of future research priorities in the context of the EEC. The meeting was financed by the Commission of the European Communities in the framework of its programme for the coordination of Community agricultural research.
