THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CALCULATION PROCEDURE FOR THE LONG TERM THERMAL PERFORMANCE PREDICITION OF SDMW SYSTEMS
The paper gives an overview of the research activities at the CEC-Joint Research Centre, for the development of a long term thermal performance prediction procedure, based on short term experiments. The methodology is composed of a series of short term tests with the whole system treated as a black box (minimum 4 test days), in order to determine the system thermal performance parameters, plus a calculation procedure to estimate the system performance at any location and for any daily consumption volume.
