CEC COMPARATIVE EXERCISE ON THE PERFORMANCES OF THE COMPUTER CODES SIMULATING THE LACE-4 EXPERIMENT
This paper concerns the Comparative Exercise on LACE-4 organized by the CEC with the main objective of validating the computer codes used in the Member States. Many European laboratories (12) are participating in this exercise, which includes the analysis of both the thermal-hydraulics and aerosol transport models implemented in the codes. The report describes the way followed to set up the work group, the technical problems which were to be faced and finally the main achievements to date (July 1987). At present, the work is in continuous progress towards the completion which is foreseen for March 1988.
