Abstract

This paper describes the material data evaluation features installed in the High Temperature Materials Databank of the CEC Joint Research Centre. The databank stores original test data and uses a number of statistical and model-based methods for the evaluation of tensile, creep, fatigue and fracture mechanics properties. Examples are presented in which data are extracted from the bank and converted into model parameters suitable for material and property evaluation, constitutive equations and engineering design analysis.
