EXTENSIVE RADIOLOGICAL MEASUREMENTS AT THE ANGRA-1 NUCLEAR POWER PLANT DURING START-UP
Systematic neutron and gamma dose-rate measurements were performed in and outside the reactor containment of the nuclear power plant Central Nuclear Almirante Alvaro Alberto (CNAAA) at Angra do Reis, Angra-1 a 626 MW pressurized water reactor, for different power-levels (0, 3, 30, 50, 75, 90 and 100%) during the start-up phase of the plant from 1981 to 1984. Two hundred and ten measuring points had been selected within the containment, the safety-, fuel element- and auxiliary-buildings outside and along the building complex and alongside the fence of the plant-area. The results of the measurements are reported and discussed.
