THE PRESENTATION INCLUDES : - PHYSICO-CHEMICAL AND PEDOLOGIC CHARACTERIZATION OF SOILS - POLLUTION SOURCES CAUSING SURFACE SOIL CONTAMINATION BY ORGANICS AND TRACE METALS - MIGRATION AND TRANSFORMATION OF POLLUTANTS IN DEEPER SOIL PROFILES - PATHWAYS IN AQUIFEROUS LAYERS AND GROUNDWATER - SPECIAL SOIL RECOVERIES - CREATION OF SURFACE SOIL
