Riassunto

THE ANALYTICAL POSSIBILITIES OF THE TECHNIQUES OF ATOMIC ABSORPTION, OPTICAL EMISSION WITH INDUCTIVELY COUPLED PLASMA AND ATOMIC FLUORESCENCE SPECTROMETRY FOR THE PURPOSE OF TESTING SAMPLES IN THE FIELD OF CLINICAL BIOCHEMISTRY ARE REVIEWED. PRACTICAL DIFFICULTIES OCCURING DURING THE TESTING OF SAMPLES ARE ANALYSED. THE THREE DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES ARE COMPARED ON THE THE MOST BASIS OF A SERIES OF PARAMETERS ALLOWING ONE TO SELECT THE MOST APPROPRIATE TECHNIQUE FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL TYPE OF PROBLEM TO BE INVESTIGATED.
