Abstract

THIS PAPER PRESENTS AN EXTENSION OF THE MODEL DESCRIBED IN PARTS I AND II OF THIS INVESTIGATION. FURTHER EQUATIONS ARE ADDED TO THE MODEL TO ENABLE THE STUDY OF DROPLET LADEN GAS FLOWS. RESULTS ARE PRESENTED FOR CASES WITH AND WITHOUT FRAGMENTATION AND ARE COMPARED WITH THE ANALYTICAL THEORY WHICH IS VALID IN THE LIMIT OF SMALL PARTICLE SIZE.
