Abstract

THE TRANSFER STANDARD DEVELOPED FOR THE LASER BEAM OF UP TO 100 W POWER CONSISTS IN AN OPTICAL TRAP ON A WATER COOLED SUBSTRATE. IT IS ESTIMATED THAT 95% OF THE BEAM IS TRAPPED ON THE RECEPTACLE. THE TRANSFER STANDARD INCLUDES THE POSSIBILITY OF A CALIBRATION OF THE COOLING SYSTEM BY MEANS OF ELECTRIC HEATING. THE TRANSFER STANDARD IS STABLE, TRANSPORTABLE AND THE UNCERTAINTY OF ITS MEASUREMENTS IS ESTIMATED AT 1 TO 2%.
