DIRECT EFFECTS OF DRY AND WET DEPOSITION ON FOREST ECOSYSTEMS - IN PARTICULAR CANOPY INTERACTIONS
This report presents the proceedings of a workshop held in October 1986 concerning forest ecosystems. The first theme discussed was the effects of dry and wet deposition on tree canopies, in particular mineral and nutritional status. The second theme concerned the interactive effects of SO(2), NO(x) and O(3) on the structure and function of canopies. The third theme concerned the effects of air pollution and natural stress factors such as drought and frost. Theme 4 dealt with the occurrence and effects of micropollutants.
