FIELD MEASUREMENTS AND THEIR INTERPRETATION (AIR POLLUTION RESEARCH REPORT NO.14)
The structure of project COST 611 ("Physico-Chemical Behaviour of Atmospheric Pollutants") is now as follows: Working Party 1: Development of analytical methods to measure trace components of the atmosphere Working Party 2: Atmospheric chemical and photochemical processes Working Party 3: Field measurements and their interpretation. The first Workshop of the new Working Party 3, the proceedings of which appear in this volume, was held in France on 3-4 May, 1988. The meeting included two sessions wholly devoted to (a) atmospheric cycles of NO(x) and (b) field experiments in coastal and marine environments, directed at understanding the special problems of air pollution in the Mediterranean region. Another session was devoted to other topics of general interest such as emissions, transport and deposition of air pollutants.
