Abstract

This report describes the scientific and technological policy of Denmark. It presents among others the following : - national laws and plans that govern research and technological development; - short and medium term objectives and priorities set out by the government; - institutional infrastructure and decision mechanisms in the field of science and technology; - technology transfer and innovation policy; - measures taken to improve the overall efficiency of the science and technology system, and to strengthen the links between research and the production sectors.
