STRESS ANALYSIS OF THE WINDING PACK AND ENEA CONDUCTOR AT THE CENTRAL VAULT OF THE TF-COILS FOR NET-22B
In the present paper the results of the stress analysis of the Toroidal Field coil and of the ENEA conductor for NET (Next European Torus) are presented. The calculations have been performed with the FEM code ABAQUS. The main goals are to calculate the stress acting on all the components of the conductor and to study the influence on the stress distribution of the friction coefficient between case and winding pack. The results obtained are discussed and some conclusions are reached.
