Abstract

Vacuum field properties of the URAGAN-2M Torsatron are investigated. In the `Standard Case', within a certain range of field parameters, the size of the observed magnetic islands at t = 2/3 can be reduced considerably. Some characteristic quantities for stellarator vacuum fields are reported.
