EXCITATION FUNCTIONS OF (N,P) AND (N,ALPHA) REACTIONS ON MOLYBDENUM ISOTOPES
Cross sections were measured for the reactions 92Mo(n,alpha)89Zr, 92Mo(n,p)92mNb, 92Mo(n,np)91mNb, 95Mo(n,p)95gNb, 95Mo(n,p)95mNb, 96Mo(n,p)96Nb, 98Mo(n,alpha)95Zr and 100Mo(n,alpha)97Zr. The activation technique was used in combination with high-resolution gamma-ray spectroscopy. The neutron fluence rates were determined using both the proton recoil telescope and the 27Al(n, alpha)24Na monitor reaction. This work concentrates on activation products with half-lives in the range of 0.7-70 days and provides excitation functions in the 12.5-19.6 MeV region.
