Plant-protection problems and prospects of integrated control in viticultureFunded under: FP1-AGRIRES 3C
The symposium was concerned with the control of phytophagous animals and vegetables in vinegrowing, by means of strategies that limit the use of pesticides or anticryptogramic and chemical herbicides, which are toxic for the environment and for users. The meeting dealt with the protection of vine cultures from harmful insects, mites, nematodes, diseases of fungal, bacterial, mycoplasmic and viral origin, and from weeds. The phytosanitary defence of vines is today normal cultivation practice and must take into account the influence of interventions in the vine-growing environment.
