Influence of environmental factors on the control of grape pests, diseases and weeds
This meeting considered the importance of biotic and abiotic factors in the protection of vines against damaging animals, serious diseases and weeds, taking into account the influence of environmental bioclimatic factors. Advanced crop-growing practices used in agriculture cannot exclude the use of intervention strategies and phytosanitary products to reduce the indiscriminate use of generic toxic products and to reduce both pollution and disturbance of the agro-ecosystem. Working sessions considered insects, mites, diseases, weeds and pesticides in vineyards. The report also gives the conclusions of a round table on coordinated field actions on sex and food trapping of the grape berry moth.
