Abstract

Cross sections were measured for the reactions 92Mo(n,Ó)89Zr, 92Mo(n,p)92mNb, 92Mo(n,np)91mNb, 95Mo(n,p)95gNb, 95Mo(n,p)95mNb, 96Mo(n,p)96Nb, 98Mo(n,Ó)95Zr and 100Mo(n,Ó)97Zr. The activation technique was used in combination with high-resolution gamma-ray spectroscopy. The neutron fluence rates were determined using both the proton recoil telescope and the 27Al(n, Ó)24Na monitor reaction. This work concentrates on activation products with half-lives in the range of 0.7-70 days and provides excitation functions in the 12.5-19.6 MeV region.
