Reports of the Scientific Committee on Animal Nutrition (Seventh series - 1988)
The Scientific Committee on Animal Nutrition was set up in order to provide the Commission with informed opinions on scientific matters relating to the use of feed additives. This report contains the opinions expressed by the Committee on feed additives. Some of the topics covered include the use of maduramicin-ammonium to prevent coccidiosis in fattening chickens, the use of avilamycin in feedstuffs for pigs and the use of virginiamycin in feedstuffs for fattening cattle.
