The orifice plate discharge coefficient equation
The orifice plate discharge coefficient equation described in this paper is the result of the analysis of data collected in the last eight years in Europe and the United States. It consists of a Cý term for corner tappings at infinite Reynolds number, a slope term consisting of a throat Reynolds number term and a velocity profile term, and upstream and downstream tapping terms.
