Mobility in soil An experimental approach
Studies of mobility of contaminants in soil are difficult due to the stochastic nature of the inputs and to the spatial and temporal variations of field parameters. A systematic approach which combines laboratory and field experiments with computer modelling is proposed for a realistic assessment of groundwater contamination. This should be coupled with validation studies at contaminated sites.
