"Proceedings of the Satellite Workshop of the 9th International Conference on Plasma Surface Interactions"
For a fusion reactor, the control of the heat load on the wall is of highest importance to prevent dilution of the fuel by the impurity inflow. Contributions to this workshop have reviewed current knowledge of the relevance, realisation and stability of a cold layer at the plasma edge. These reports will prepare for next step devices such as ITER or NET.
