A global approach of magnetic turbulence transport in tokamaks
A tool is presented to study the global self consistency of a magnetic turbulence interpretation of anomalous transport in tokamaks. Discrete localised structures in the system may act to enhance the transport. A von Neumann object with two variables is used to model such phenomena. In an example of a simple case a wide range of behaviours is obtained. Examples are also given in cylindrical geometry. The choice of specific plasma instabilities for test is then discussed.
