Abstract

Progress made in activities relating to the Multi-Phase Multi-Component Test Facility is reviewed. In particular, blowdown test results of a "gassy" system (H(2)O(2) decomposition) and of high viscosity fluids, are presented. Concerning the FIRES facility, the results of the calibration tests and of the first reactive system assessments are outlined. Progress in computer code development and in evaluation of the simplified DIERS formulations is discussed. Finally, the "Large Venting Facility" project is illustrated in order to explore the possible participation of American organisations.
