Recent improvements to the ANITA code include an accurate description of the multi-step reactions, namely of the neutron interactions on unstable nuclei produced by the primary neutron interactions. This improvement is based on the subdivision of the irradiation time into steps proportional to the neutron fluence. The possibility of using different neutron energy structures as input gives the energy bounds. ANITA has been validated with benchmark calculations and is available with the Activation Cross Section Library REAC-ECN5.
