Abstract

The seven JET papers contained in this publication include discussions of recent developments in microwave reflectometry at JET, a new method for estimating and identifying systematic error in Thomson scattering diagnostics, the calibration of JET neutron yield monitors using the delayed neutron counting technique and the difficulties of using a 252Cf neutron source for this calibration. Other papers consider bulk ion temperature measurements, a high resolution Lidar-Thomson scattering diagnostic, and the use of the 28Si(n,p)28Al reaction for the measurement of 14 MeV neutrons.
