Operational diagnosis for improving the extent of plough use II
The activities presented in this report were aimed at creating the basis of a diagnostic system for coal ploughs. The transducers and recording equipment were not available and had to be developed. Measurement of plough pick forces was advanced to maturity; a successor model of the previous memory, taking all the findings gained so far into account, was installed on board the moving plough for registration of measuring data. The equipment for symmetric measurement of three-phase current levels was a highly promising innovation. The development of diagnostic procedures whereby the behaviour or status of machinery can be identified by computer processing of operational data, was the principal objective during the period under review. The procedures function predominantly on data transmission to the surface.
