Abstract

To construct the phase diagram of a saturated fluid, it is necessary to have, on the one hand, a set of temperature data for the vapour pressure and for the vapour and liquid densities and, on the other, thermodynamic relations in the form of equations and inequalities interrelating relevant parameters. Absolute energy and entropy values allow the construction of uniquely transformable phase diagrams.
