Abstract

Interlaboratory comparisons are one of the tools used to check the measurement performance of analytical laboratories. The REIMEP programme covers all the "real-life" materials normally analysed for safeguards purposes. It adds the particularly important feature of a "reference value" in the large number of values of laboratories. The results of the measurements completed in 1990 on the UO(2) pellet are presented. A variety of methods was applied by the participating laboratories for the assay of uranium content and 235U mass fraction. Results are presented in the form of comparative graphs.
