Ethylene from natural gas by direct catalytic oxidation
The aim of this research was the development of a process for the production of ethylene directly from natural gas by partial oxidation. This involved optimising the physical parameters of the catalyst (Li doped MgO), defining the optimum reactor design and reaction conditions, collecting data for the modelling of the chemical reaction and process design and economic evaluations.
