Abstract

The Common Functional Specifications (CFS) contain the framework of the synthesised results of Part I of the RACE programme. They are a compendium of principles and guidelines on the IBC concept, as well as of detailed specifications of services, interfaces, and network elements. They address telecommunications issues in the context of the public network only. They are generated by the RACE technical workshops. This document, the eighth of issue A, presents a vocabulary of terms for IBC, giving a definition and source for each.
