A high-pressure X-ray diffraction study of UAs(0.6)Se(0.4)
Powder diffraction data are reported for UAs(0.6)Se(0.4) in the pressure range up to 50 GPa. The bulk modulus is B(0)=95 GPa, its pressure derivative B(0)' =4.4. A phase transformation is observed at about 20 GPa, where the structure changes from the NaCl type (Bl) to the CsCl type (B2).
