Resonance neutron capture in structural materials
In view of the improvements recently introduced in gamma-ray detection with the pulse-height weighting method, it was decided to review the data on neutron capture in structural materials. First, the 56Fe capture results obtained in Geel some years ago were revised by applying the correct weighting to the raw database. Secondly, 60Ni capture measurements were performed at GELINA with a renewed detection set-up. Resonance parameters are given for both isotopes in the range from 1 to 300 keV.
