Abstract

This comparison of force transducer calibrations aimed at checking the agreement of the calibration certificates issued by the different metrology laboratories in the European Community. Different methodologies were used by the laboratories and two types of transducer were used: a stiff transducer of 500 kN and a flexible transducer of 100 kN. The results have shown that the agreement between laboratories is better for a stiff transducer than for a flexible one.
