Chromato, a measuring probe for in situ drill-hole sampling and chromatography of lanthanides present in deep subterranean waters
The importance of the effect of the natural environment on the migration ability of stored radionuclides leads to the development of devices for the chemical study of this environment. The "chromato" probe's purpose is to measure all parameters likely to be affected by a simple sampling. The lanthanides can compete with pollutants in the migration mechanisms and have to be given special attention. The volumetric in situ sampling of these elements is the subject of this research.
