Abstract

A transfer standard, consisting of two orifices in series separated by a flow straightener, was used in the water flow facilities at two laboratories to establish their level of compatibility. Agreement over the straight line portions of the overlapping calibrations was within 0.1% in three of the four comparisons and 0.17% for the fourth. Over a 10:1 range up to 0.08 m3/s agreement was always within 0.25%.
