Abstract

The standard molar enthalpies of formation of several ternary oxides of hexavalent neptunium with alkali metals have been determined at T = 298.15 K with p = 101.325 kPa. The results are presented. The stabilities of these oxides with respect to their parent binary oxides are discussed and compared with those of the homologous and related hexavalent actinides.
