This brief survey of the EUR-CEA Association's research activities is divided into five main themes: - the state of Tore Supra's technical developments, especially the plasma confinement, the superconductive toroidal magnet, the poloidal field, the measurement systems and heating; - the operation of Tore Supra and the results regarding ohmic discharge and the control of matter and energy flows; - the theoretical and numerical studies, chaos, turbulence, edge plasma and non-inductive current generation; - the technology of fusion and, in particular, the technology of the basic machine, that of heating and of the tritigenic blanket, and - contributions to the JET programme, the generation of current by hybrid waves and the development of a high speed repetitive pellet injector.
