VAMAS : An independent report
The Versailles Project on Advanced Materials and Standards (VAMAS) was established by the Economic Summit of the G7 nations in 1982. Its purpose is to provide the technical basis for standards and codes of practice that will stimulate the acceptance of advanced materials in high technology products. The report describes an independent evaluation of the scientific and technical achievements of the initiative up until the end of 1991.
