An electron cyclotron emission diagnostic for electron temperature profiles measurement on FTU tokamak
Electron Cyclotron Emission (ECE) is a well established and reliable plasma diagnostic tool for the measurement of electron temperature profiles. In this paper the requirements and main features of the ECE diagnostic for the Frascati Tokamak Upgrade (FTU) are outlined. The realisation of the light collection system and of the Fourier transform spectrometer are described. Some plasma data are reported to illustrate the diagnostic work.
